I find this discussion very interesting. I have been diving for over 40 years. A charter boat captain for 30. Attitudes have certainly changed. For the better I would say. I remember a day on the old Truth at San Nick when Roy Hauser speared one of these fish and everyone was in awe. Dive shops had pictures of huge speared Black Seabass displayed on their walls. Times and attitudes change.
