Sea Nettles in San Diego |
Posted by WalterMarti on July 22, 2012 at 12:56:32:
With reports to lots of Black Sea Nettles in San Diego it was time for a road trip. Peter Gallup dragged the MaryQ down south. Mike Bartick rounded out the crew. We met up with Steve Murvine already anchored at Pt Loma. It was an overcast morning. The nettles were found just at the thermocline and 100' past the end of the kelp. When the sun came up, they migrated into the kelp and were right under our boat.
