Come dive the Wrecks of the Palawan and the Crane next Saturday August 4, 2012 with the Sea Divers aboard the Giant Stride.

The Palawan is an artifical reef made from the hull of a liberty ship in 130 ft of water off of Redondo Beach. The top of the structuyre is 95 to 100 feet. The deck and all enginges have been removed.

The Palawan is covered with invertebrates including gorgonians, anemones, sponges, scallops, nudibanchs, and lobster. It attracts many fish including reockfish and is home to many Ronquils which are not common at other duve sites.

After we dive the Palawn we will move to the crane wreck which is 55 ft. with about 10 feet of relief. This wreck is also home to many invertibrates and fish.

The Giant Stride (a very large and comfortable 6-pack) will board in Giant Stride>Marina del Rey at 7AM, and depart at 7:30AM.

If you would like to go sign up at the the Sea Divers web site. If you have questions you can email Suzanne or call her at (626) 221-1119.

I hope we see you on the trip.
