Well it appears our safe little world at Catalina Island has caught up with todays economy. Last weekend there was 2 sets of gear plus an additional wetsuit stolen from our hotel overnight last Saturday. In the 4 years I have been a regular I have never seen or heard of anything like this happening. If anyone see"s equipment marked Bakersfield Scuba in the near future on or with anyone that does not know our shop please call 661 324 3337. Thanks to our hotel staff, the Sheriffs department and other divers in the area in helping keep an eye out on Sunday. The thief was not at all smaart as they took rental gear and left the gear next to it containing a full Tec rig including light. Thanks in advance for keeping an eye out for this thief
