My friends and I traveled out to Crescent Bay in Laguna yesterday August 25th, and we lost a GoPro and a blue Princeton Tec Shockwave in the water. The GoPro was in a dive housing and was attached to the headstrap. It has a dive flag symbol on the back of it and my name and number is on the back of the camera. This was lost somewhere between where the seals enter the water off the rock and due approximately North to northeast bound from the rocks out between the shallow reefs on the return swim. The light was lost right in the vicinity of the seal's entrance to the rock. We tried searching but it just got too dark. Told a group of three divers going out to Deadman's Reef about it as well on our way out. I wanted to drop you guys a line about it and maybe you can help put out the word. As stated on the back of the camera I'd be more than happy to compensate anyone who finds it. We had a great time despite this obviously frustrating set of events. We're being cautiously optimistic.
