Did a shore dive at Haggertys, one of my favorite shore spots once you get down the cliff and over the rocks. The most reliable place to find large adult horn sharks my opinion, which we saw along with a shovel nosed guitar fish.
The unexpected discovery of the dive was the large amount of juvenile garibaldi and a 12 inch diameter abalone. I had seen pics of them before but never ran into them in the wild. On this dive under 25 feet I ran into three and had a wonderful little photo shoot attempting to push the limits of my compact camera's auto focus speed, focal range, and sensor. All in serge just to make if fun.
But if it was easy why would we like it!
