That creep took something from everyone else who enjoys that site! Just because it was legal doesn't make it morally justifiable. The response he earned by his evil deed was in porportion to people's outrage over the sheer immorality of what he did. The indignation was organic, it was an entirely appropriate responce to this selfish bastage having broken an unwritten understanding within the diving community.

And to mr appologist--> (chris knight): when someone commits an act that outrageous and they do not show even the slightest contrition for what they had done, the community at large has a right and obligation to defend their interests. I am very glad that there were people at the site to document this disturbing event--Hope the pressure was sufficient to detere other selfish people from repeating what he had done.
