This isn't not going to happen. I attended the meeting where the commisssion decided on the new regs for the basses. There was one fool there who was completely obnoxious and disrespectful. He was the only one there advocating for this new fishery and the commission heard him loud and clear!

I have to say that as an unabashed kelp-hugger, i was very heartened by the questions asked by a couple members (Baylis and Sutton). They showed an insight and depth of knowledge that was surprising and gave me much confidence in the scope of any deliberations in which this decision will be made.

I have complete confidence that this will not happen any time soon.
