Posted by Chris on December 18, 2012 at 14:12:44: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Sea Otter Relocation Program has been officially scrapped. The Otters moved to San Nicolas Island did not stay. They did not stay north of Santa Barbara, and attempts to relocate have not worked. You can read more about it at San Francisco Chronicle.
