New Years Grey Whale Surprise!

So I chose to run new years morning due to a lack of a dive partner and an over abundance of food consumption form the night before. I was startled and pleased to run into a baby grey whale playing in the surf just north of Topaz jetty. Of all the days to not have scuba gear and my camera!
