I've been around the diving community for 20 years in one way or another and I have never heard anything bad about them. Somehow I never ended up going on the boat, it just worked out that way.
One time I was diving off a private boat at Catalina and Capt. Gregg filled our tanks for us, and, if I remember correctly even gave us a sandwich! There food was much better than what we had brought.
