Dove Wreck of the Avalon on Saturday.
Vis 20ft
temp 51
Saw unusually large amount of blue rock fish schooling. Saw the usually lincod but all were small. Saw a four foot horn shark which I have been seeing more and more of.
The really unusual sighting of the dive was clouds of shrimp (possible krill?) about 20ft X 10ft. Not sure if they were small enough to be krill or the right color because they were not noticeable red, not much is at 80 feet under water. Still, every year I have been seeing more and more of these shrimp which I think is a good thing.

I WOULD LOVE TO SHOW PICTURES!!!! but I have recently got a nikon D7000 in an ikelite housing and for two dives now I have been unable to get the auto focus to work at depth. Im guessing the problem is user error. Has anyone had this problem? I know the focus system works on contrast could it be that I need a modeling light? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
