[CHAMBER DAY 25 & CHAMBER EVE 2013 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 1 - SAVE THE DATE!!!]

This is a big year for Chamber Day as we celebrate the 25th incarnation of the event (that's why we've been referring to it as "Chamber Day 25" instead of Chamber Day 2013").

A huge portion of the money raised each year in this event now comes from the Chamber Challenge. In case you're not familiar, this is simply a straight cash donation to our Chamber. And these donations are a HUGE help to us to keep our Chamber available on a 24/7/365 basis.

Most people don't think of it this way, but it costs about the same to keep the Chamber open each week whether anyone needs it or not. Because our Chamber MUST be ready to respond at a moment's notice, it has to have the ability to be full operational at all times. And whether or not someone needs a chamber treatment, those costs exists week after week, month after month, all year long. So your donations allow us to constantly stand at the ready?

So are you ready to pitch in and help out? We don't ask you to do it every day. We only ask that you do it once. How about now? Look who's already pitched in. Antelope Valley Desert Divers (who actually gave their donation in January) gave $1000 as did Sport Chalet, putting them both in the Gold level. And Eo Ong & Paul Thompson have donated $500 to make them the first Silver level donors this year.

So we're off and running. Who’s next? Who will help push past $3,000?
