It depends on where you are, but I would suggest New Wave Wetsuits in Fullerton.
Teresa is the owner and cutter and does a fine job. She takes care to fit well and is usually very fast in completing custom suits. She has built a couple for me and done marvelous repairs and refits as well.

You mentioned 8mm, I don't know if that is a standard thickness in neoprene. 7mm and 9mm are typical, but ask Teresa.

If you are more on the Westside, JMJ dose a great job too, but as a higher volume outfit the wait for the final product is typically longer.
