You want to shout me down as ridiculous, I think you and your views are ridiculous. Sounds like your views are based on total no take of any living thing in the ocean, PETA for Sea Life. We both must realize that there is and always has been harvesting from the ocean. I enjoy the legal harvesting of fresh sea food from the ocean, call it underwater hunting, or gathering. I do not think the oceans are devoid of life as you imply, otherwise, how can there be such a large population of Sea Lions. Please do not call me ridiculous for suggesting that the Sea Lion Population is at a maximum and they are starving out due to overpopulation, and perhaps we should consider not rehabing each and everyone that washes up on the beach, think it could be Natural selection at work thinning the population. I will stand by my statement, I love the cute critters just like you, but they are overpopulated.
