Wow!!! We have not only ZOOMED past $30,000 and nudged past $35,000, but we hit for the cycle to do it. (In other words, one donation at each level.)

We start with Platinum where longtime Chamber supporters the Ocean Institute have chipped in a $7,500 donation. The Institute (in Dana Point) not only fulfills its mission to ". . . inspire all generations, through education, to become responsible stewards of our oceans" but they also realize that when some of those they inspire become divers, they may be in need of our Chamber.

We're also happy to tell you that we got a $1,000 donation from longtime Chamber Day/Eve supporters Ron & Beth Beltramo at Eco Dive Center in Culver City. It’s especially fitting when dive shops kick in to help protect the divers that form their customer base.

At the $500 Silver level, we welcome returning contributor James Whipple (I was going to go for a "Whip It - Whip It Real Good" joke here but will pass). We also got a Poster-level contribution from the collective souls at the L.A. Underwater Photographic Society, and completing the "cycle:, a $100 donation from Claudette Dorsey.
