AND WE'VE GOT THE BIBS MASKS FULLY FUNDED . . . AND THEN SOME!!!! We start out with a fantastic anonymous donation of $5,000 with the request that it fund a BIBS mask and the rest be used for a general Challenge donation. This is someone who also donated last year, but prefers to remain out of the limelight. And this helped turn on the BIBS spigot. The Eckes Family came in with BIBS funding and that, along with Anonymous, put us at the 8 we needed to fund and qualified us for the two freebies. But we apparently weren't done yet. Next Antelope Valley Desert Divers called in and asked about funding a BIBS mask. When we told them we had the 8 funded, their answer was, "Well, maybe you'll need a 9th." After that, Paul Tan and Carlos Linares both called in and said they wanted to harness the power of their respective company's matching grant program to help fund a BIBS mask. When told we were now at 9, they said "Well, maybe you'll need 10 or 11." So through the magic of matching grants, they made donations which - with the match - got us two more BIBS masks. And on top of that, Liquid Adrenaline Divers came through with a Silver level donation of $500. Your collective generosity is simply amazing. But we've still got a little over 24 hours to go until we're done and while this outpouring is truly gratifying, this is not the time to let the success of the last 18 hours diminish the need for stability in the funding for our Chamber. And every dollar you donate, no matter where it’s directed, helps us achieve that. How high can we go?
