It was our second experience with tropical water diving, and Anilao welcomed us with a serene, blue sea. Located in Mabini, Batangas, the Philippines, Club Ocellaris overlooks Balayan Bay.
Club-O is named for the false anemonefish, Amphiprion ocellaris
Joy is the gracious manager and sous-chef at Club-O.
Boatman Jeremy waits for the dive party, while Phil relaxes on board.
Paris resident and dive animal, Zung made 4 dives every day for 2 weeks.
Brothers Bohdi and Jeremy were our expert boatmen this day.
Our boatmen’s attention to detail kept everything running smoothly. Gear and cameras were always taken care of as if we did it ourselves. We were never rushed, and dive times were only limited by how much air was in our tanks. Boatmen Obet and Jeremy with Dr. Eli and Kevin
These men were checking our permit to dive in a Marine Protected Area.
Bohdi served tea between dives. What a luxury!
Kevin love mangosteens – a most exotic tropical fruit!
Wire coral crab, Xenocarcinus tuberculatus
Bobtail squid, Euprymna berryi
Bispira
Spirobranchus giganteus
Sabellastarte
Gorlock mantis shrimp, Lysiosquillina lisa
Squat anemone shrimp, Thor amboinensis
