He did not die in the water. He was not feeling well when he exited the water and collapsed on the beach.


The previous weekend with less than ideal conditions Kenneth Liu, 36, died in a rip Current at Fisk Mill, Henry Choy, 50 died in rough water at Fort Bragg, and Cedric Collett, 66, died in Sea Ranch.
