I am one who likes to fish and dive for lobster and the use of the hoop nets has blown up.I know they have been around forever and have an uncle who uses them.
Back when he used the old style they may spend the whole night out and get a few lobsters for the boat usually 2-3 people.These days with the new style they will limit out in short time.

I am with halibugs comment in the other thread you want a lobster get wet and cold to get it.Dont punish a diver who has to work for them.
