I started making plates again for anybody interested.
You might have heard about the Freedom Plates or seen them on Socal beaches or on boats.
Phil and Merry come to mind along with a slew of others down there.

I have a new model available, it's called the Freedom Contour.
It's just like the original plate but all the edges on the bottom and sides are rolled outward so there are no edges that bite or dig into your back.
These things are really slick.
I also upgraded the stainless to 316. Not that I ever had a problem using 304 on models past, but the laser cutter recommended it so I went with it.
I make a small size and the full size original model.
Both are available in standard configuration or in the new Contour configuration.
The standards are $179.00 for either size
and the Contours are $199.00 in either size.
The Contours require a substantial amount of extra shaping to get all the compound curves, but they are sooooo comfortable.
The tank bracket is now made of two solid rods that hold the tank at the perfect angle for the famous Freedom fit.
No more removable rail or parts to get lost. The new Contour design is so dynamically shaped that a straight rail wouldn't work.

I'm going to plan a few demos both in Monterey and somewhere in Socal so people can actually see one and try it out.
