Bob was one of the first Recreational SCUBA Instructors, graduating from the first Los Angeles County Department of Parks & Recreation Underwater Instructor Certification Course, UICC 01.


He was always a great supporter of the Los Angeles County Underwater Unit programs and always entertaining at the UICC graduation banquets he attended from time to time for those of us fortunate to sit with him at his table.
