I ran off to Catalina yesterday, aboard the Second Stage. It was very nice to be on a spacious boat. We found the Giant Black Sea Bass, and we had them all to ourselves. In stellar conditions I may add. They are amazingly large fish, that can be very docile. When approached slowly, you can get very close to them. It's nice to see the abalone making a comeback at Catalina. I enjoy offering them a snack of a fresh and tender piece of kelp. They seem quite grateful to receive it.
