The males chase the females around getting them ready to release their row. When she is ready they will all rush to the surface where the pressure will push out the milt and row. I thought it was interesting to see what looked like a distinct couple of mature fish together. They live to be a hundred years old, for all we know the same individuals may mate year after year..
