No, it doesn't suck. For the record, my wife and I have dove all over the Caribbean, the South pacific, Central America, Mexico and here in California. We enjoyed our diving the big island. Been to Cozumel 3 times in the past. As many as 8 cruise ships in port at any time. Completely over-dove with as many 10-20 dive boats converging on large sites. Due to the drift diving, most dive accidents there are when someone surfaces and gets clipped by a boat prop. Was nice and quaint about 30 years ago.
