Well I did make an intentional 165 foot dive off of Gordo Banks. I saw some displays on my computer I had never seen before or since.
Amazingly, the surface interval before the next dive was only about an hour.
What seems amazing to me from hindsight was that I made two
deep bounce dives on a single 72.
There is a fine line between hobby and obsession, young and dumb, adventure and death. What sounded better though was "Between what
is know and what is unknown are the Doors."
