Based on the wide distribution of the lobster population across the Southern California Coast and the 8 Channel Islands, it is difficult to conceive that most of the breeding occurs in Northern Baja. I can see the larval stage drifting a long way. But how do all the mature breeders travel such long distances to reach Northern Baja?
