Our group of divers paddled the yaks out of a local harbor. I kind of pride myself on watching all sorts of forecasts and live cams to determine if the conditions will be good or not. So despite a steady rain, we headed out. Yes I do know about the dangers related to runoff and can judge if there has been enough rain to cause high bacteria and this was not a factor with this light rain. Conditions were good, 20' vis, no surge, 57 degree water, and we got a few bugs for our efforts. Sometime you have to get out on the water and feel the weather.
