Labugman just defined why some people can be so vested in denying the anthropomorphic climate change--If one believes that man has nothing to do with the obvious changes, then man will have no further responsibility to even address it, let alone DO something about it. It is a complete cop-out-
Here is the rub: "but I'm not convinced that we have a man made climate change problem big enough to warant drastic changes to our comfortable way of life."
Translated; it means that he chooses to deny the causes and prefers to be 'comfortable,'--->willfully blind to the conjunctive!
That self-centered ideology is going to be THE greatest hurdle in the attempt to decelerat this rampage against our planet..
There are upwards of 20,000 jet aircraft flying within a delicate 15,000 foot sphere around the planet at any given moment--> 24-7. These gasses have adulterated the composition of the atmosphere over the last 30 years. Heat containment, UV refraction, moisture content and retention, etc by the atmosphere all have demonstratively changed in our lifetime.
Since fracking broke out as the last gold rush, gasses are seeping up through the (NOW) broken rocky substrate and thru the soil at higher levels than have EVER been detected from satellite observation--those carbonic gasses adds to the problem and THAT source is going to be more enduring than any other source--Those fissures created by fracking will continue to off-gas until they expire, that could take hundreds of years..
To deny anthropomorphic causation at this late stage of the game is irrational and utterly self serving..
