March 4. Ron and Lise Wike will present a program about diving in the Lembeh Straits in Indonesia. They went to the KBR Resort http://divekbr.com/ for 10 days, went on 28 dives and were underwater about 35 hours. Bizarre creatures hide in the muck, including five different types of octopus. Ron will show the best of the more than 2000 photos he took on this diving trip.

April 1. Peter Landecker will present a program about diving in the Manado area of Indonesia as well as visiting Singapore on the way home. After spending 10 days muck diving at KBR, Peter continued for 6 days at the Thalassa Dive Resort http://thalassamanado.com/ featuring wall and current diving at Bunaken National Park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunaken_National_Park . He did a total of 43 dives and lingered about 60 hours underwater. He then visited Singapore for 4 days on the way home, including a behind the scenes visit to the largest Aquarium in the world. Peter will share his experiences and adventures.

May 6. TBA.

June 3. The Catalina Marine Society http://catalinamarinesociety.org/ will present a program about their organization and activities. The Catalina Marine Society musters volunteer resources to study and understand the marine environment of Santa Catalina Island and the entire Southern California Bight in which she lies.
