On Sunday took the mighty inflatable out with Frank Groark and his engine, and dove the barge. The storm last weekend redecorated it a bit. There are new openings in the roof (ok, the hull, it's upside down) and new and bigger holes in the south side. You can get into a lot of the cells inside now, and it's pretty well lit. A lot of the interior bulkheads have big openings in them. The floor in the cells in some places has been scoured clean, in other places it's gone. Photos at the link below.

Don't go in if you don't know what you're doing. Besides the usual disclaimers about going into spaces that can get silted up in relatively deep water, the surge is really strong and it's coming in through all those holes and up from underneath the barge through the floor and funneling through the big windows. You can get stuffed pretty tight in one of those holes, especially if you have any dangling gear.
