Two dives in wetsuits - first dive was great... second we were a bit chilly. Was worth it... world's easiest entry down a boat ramp! Then swim out to beyond the cove and submerge. Excellent examples of NorCal sea life - huge sea stars, some metridians, and abundant large fish plus the ever present sea otters (keep distance per the MMPA, but they can approach you...). Whalers and the proximate coves are the only place you can dive, which is a shame as the other southern coves looked really inviting.... clear water. Need an advance reservation, but can make it on-line... definitely a place to dive at least once in one's life.
