Halibut

I went out last July 4 weekend halibut hunting at Catalina aboard the Great Escape.

I spent the whole day swimming out in the sand away from everyone else on the boat.

I saw a few halibut in the 30-50 ft range, but they all swam off before I could get in range for a shot. This one was at about 105 feet.

So far it has made a couple of great meals, with many more to come.
