A friend from Florida is coming to visit. She is serious about nudi’s and has even discovered 2 new ones in her past.

I would particularly appreciate anyone who could recommend any dive sites that are rich in nudi’s. She is particularly interested in seeing a Hopkins Rose.

I would love to take her to Old Marineland, but she is not accustomed to the rocky entry and has only dove the Pebble Beach there once at the cost of a ruined camera. If anyone with a boat is heading that way and would not mind two strap hangers, please let me know.

If you would like to join us for one or more days of the Nudi hunt here is our tentative schedule:
Sunday 07 Sept – recover from late night arrival, Beach dive local in the afternoon (Laguna Beach to Malibu)
Monday/Tuesday Sept 08 & 09 San Diego Beach Dives most likely with a local Nudi expert.
Wednesday 10 Sept Local diving (Old Marineland I hope, but only if we can get a boat) somewhere between Laguna Beach and Malibu.
Thursday Sept 10 Local Dive or drive to Monterey still undecided.
Friday Sept 11 – Dive Montery or dive Local depending
Saturday & Sunday Sept 13 & 13 Ventura diving Anacapa/Santa Cruz Islands
Monday Sept 14 – shallow local dive A.M. (maybe) and tide Pools in the PM.
Tuesday – Tide Pools and then end of the adventure with red-eye flight.
