Its likely the mold release being used (assume its silicone). Try cleaning it well with Dawn detergent and warm water. If that doesn't help, use some Goof-Off, then clean that off thoroughly.

Ken's right on the Sea Drops (I prefer rubbing with kelp) or a drop or two of baby shampoo.
