We had gorgeous blue 65o water last Sunday down 40' and then a marked therocline with cold yellow water to the bottom where it was 55o in N SM Bay. This body of cold water seemed to extend down from the N. just to MDR as I on my last dive in 70' just outside MDR, I literally swam over the edge of the cold dirty water into 25' vis on the bottom. It was like swimming over a fog bag and just getting "clear" of it. Rather remarkable.

So you running into sharp thermocline?
