Hey Sam,
Is there a written mandate as to how far boaters are to stay away from another boat with a displayed flag?
And if they blatantly violating a certain distance, what are the consequences as far as a fine. Is there an actual penal code that defines the rules/laws concerning the use of a dive flag?
Or is it just an gentleman's honor thing, in other words people should know not to get too close to a boat flying a flag. I run into it all the time, there is confusion on the part of the public regarding the details on the subject still to this day.
