they're doing preventative maintenance on the 5 mile outflow pipe before it fails. The 1 mile pipe is in use, starting today. 5-6 weeks. Yeah, lobster season.

water is treated, "clear", 4ppm chlorine.

Still, I do wonder if they have the chemistry right for real world conditions and what the impact might be of nutrient rich water hitting this really warm ocean.
