i remember over the years seeing isolated populations of needlefish, round herring, pompano, triggerfish, lizardfish, bonefish, striped bass, etc...

Then there are the individuals who have distinguished themselves as the most genetically superior individuals of the specie--

they are the INDIVIDUAL blue marlin, the wahoo, the shortbill spearfish, hammerhead, and others who have ventured farther than any of their contemporaries--

hopefully they will survive the gauntlet and pass their incredible genes to the next generation!
