Panaeus californisnsis is my guess. Typically in warmer waters, but perhaps here because of El Niņo.

Range is Southern California to Peru.

See page 82 in Sea of Cortez Marine Invertebrates (1996 edition).

In the latest edition of Crabs and Shrimp of the Pacfic Coast it is called Farfantepenaeus californiensis
