tiny cove, bitter east end of SCI. Poor vis-- i looked down and saw a large object moving thru the water...I thought it was a seal.. BOLTED straight down only to find that i had pinned a Giant between me and a sheer bluff. He wanted out and let me know! He let out a BOOM that was startling! It resonated thru the soft tissue and landed squarely on my skeleton! Flesh being about the same density as the water, the sound travels right on thru until it hits your bones.. I have never had my bones 'hear' a sound before.. AWESOMELY passive means of discouraging a potential threat!
