Subject: [OC Diving - News] Saturday Dive Conditions at Veteran's Park, Redondo Beach
A late posting, But I've been all day diving at and near Veteran's Park. Three dives, starting at 10 am, and ending just at sunset. Helped with young-of-the-year Giant Sea Bass surveys.
Found two tiny black-phase GSBs the size of house flies (cute!). Also found two brown-phase and one orange-phase GSBs as well as my FIRST SEAHORSE at Veteran's Park!!
Waves were 0-2 feet, 2 feet being the absolute maximum size... most were about 1 foot. Surge was minimal, and the visibility varied from about 25 feet to 35 feet. Temp was consistent
61 degrees. There was not a great variety of live at Vet's Park, today, but a SEAHORSE and 5 juvie GSBs, along with the clear water made it a lot of fun!
