I had hoped to be able to announce that we'd hit $20K so I am DELIGHTED to be able to tell you that we've actually passed $21,000 and are at $21,000. In this update, dive shops and clubs lead the way.

We start with a trio of $1,000/Gold donors, led by Sharky's Eco Diving (now under the ownership of Craig Yeaton). And Craig is following in Tony Wilcox' path of being a sold supporter of our Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber.

Close on their heels is Antelope Valley Desert Divers (in Palmdale) who not only stays at the Gold level but also this year has three tables that they are sponsoring for Chamber Evening. They're a very active club and we also enjoy our yearly trek out to talk to them.

And last but not least in this go-round is Bluewater Photo store, who was a Silver-level ($500) don or last year but this year has gone full-frame and upped the pixel count to the Gold level with a $1,000 donation.

And joining them are a number of Bronze level donors as well. And all of these donations are not only fully tax-deductible, but also (and more importantly) are what helps keep our Chamber strong. Don’t forget that even though we get support from L.A. County, almost 50% of the annual budget needs to come from the diving community and the Chamber Challenge plays a huge role in meeting that obligation.
