We are SOOOOO close to $20,000. (And if you're wondering, we're also now a little behind where we were on this same date last year.) But we've still got some folks we want to thank because they helped us get here.

First up is returning Gold-level donor Antelope Valley Desert Divers. The Chamber can be especially valuable to them because to drive home, they have to go through mountain passes (aka going to altitude post-dive) that can further complicate things. We also want to thank regular Silver-level donor Rex Uber who also made an additional $100 contribution in memory of Captain Tom Binkley. And you'll note that we've got dive clubs and other individuals at the Bronze level. So while we really appreciate the larger contributions, the $100 ones really add up as well. And when we say every donation matters to us, we mean it.

Don't lose sight of the fact that our Chamber relies on the diving community to fund over 50% of the annual operating cost. Most of that is raised through Chamber Day & Eve which is why we put such a hard push on at this time of the year. Your participation and contributions are vitally important to the financial health of our Chamber. And while you may think you'll never need our Chamber, you'll be quite thankful it's there if your underlying assumption is wrong.

Even if you personally don't dive in SoCal waters anymore, you should still support our Chamber because of not only the help it may provide your friends who still dive SoCal, but also because the information and treatment techniques we have at our Chamber are shared with other chambers around the world. So you could be in Yap and indirectly be benefiting from work done at Catalina.

We are tantalizingly close to $20,000. We need YOU - right now - to help push us beyond that mark and on our way to $25,000 So come on!!! So who's next??? Who will help get us there???
