The Return of the Bad Conditions |
Posted by Max Bottomtime on May 28, 2017 at 23:21:29: We had the best dives since January last weekend. Today we endured wind early in the morning and rough seas just so we could dive in surge and sand scatter. Halfway Reef wasn't even halfway as nice as last weekend. Golf Ball Reef was even worse. We made the most of it but my haul of images today pales in comparison to last time. The water had also cooled a bit. We had 49° on the first dive and 50° at GBR. I found two Hermissenda opalescens duking it out while laying eggs.
