I, too have seen those article, and the specimens on display at Dive n Surf, but all of those are more flat, not pickle shaped like these. Why would you drill length wise if only to tie a rope to it, it is a very hard rock! The fossil theory fails because of the identical shape of these, if just a natural cause made them. I'm still stumped.
