After watching invertebrate life on our favorite reefs seem to crash and burn, I'm glad to report that life really is returning. Even better, we're consistently finding uncommon subjects.

Halfway Reef earned its uncreative name due to its position between Christmas Tree Cove and Honeymoon cove. It's a small, oblong reef, ~35-40ft x ~85ft, bounded on all sides by sand. You certainly can't get lost there and it's packed with invertebrate life.

So far, we've found three uncommon nudis and a host of different worm species. It'll be fun to see what this reef produces in coming months.
