Nice pics as usual, but your mention of morays makes me curious. Back in the early 70s when I started diving, moray
eels were almost as common as urchins, especially at Catalina. Shortly after that, they seemed to become far less common.
Do you see them as returning? My understanding is they breed down along Baja and move up here, but that is a very old memory.
