Phil and I spent a wildly exciting day diving with Captain Andy Saxon far north of our usual haunts. Andy wanted to show us his recent, unique finds: a lone anchor and mysterious structures that have become fish habitats. Phil chose rockpile #9 for our third dive, which yielded a new-to-me nudi, Okenia angelensis, the Los Angeles Okenia.
Besides being endlessly informative on anything related to the ocean, Andy is also a Spongebob enthusiast.
