Latest PV Dives and a Mimic Nudibranch Bonanza |
Posted by Merry on September 30, 2017 at 20:20:51: It seems that for years I've been toiling away, searching for a "different", plain yellow nudibranch - Baptodoris mimetica. As its name implies, it closely resembles members of the Doriopsilla species complex. The little critters finally surfaced on Palos Verdes reefs. Four individuals provided excitement galore on my part. More photos at link below. Click on images to enlarge.
